September Shipping & Product Updates

Hey again!

If you missed my post two weeks ago, shipping to the USA has been suspended. It was not a decision that I wanted to make but with the current tariff climate, I can't have the store's customers (you wonderful folks) take on the burden of surprise duties and taxes and for me, it isn't sustainable to pay them on my end either.

I've been working towards figuring the situation out and I have good news to share: The majority of products that are for sale on the website are exempt from tariffs. What this means is prices will not have to increase on the store and I will soon be able to relaunch everything.

So, let's talk about relaunching.

I am expecting to have things back up and running within the next 2-3 weeks. There is a ton of paperwork that I still need to go through, social media content to prepare, new items to get into the store.

I will be reopening the shop shortly before then, and quietly, to take in "pre-orders". I will have a notice up on the top of the store to let everyone know when shipping will be resuming to keep things transparent.

My goal is to do package drop offs once or twice per week to take advantage of cheaper rates. Previously, packages were going out 3-4 times per week in lower quantities which works, but I want to hit a better balance of getting your items out as soon as possible and making sure we're all getting the best rates. This may add a couple of days of delays to packages for some customers, but considering almost everything is printed to order, there is already waiting to do.

Speaking of printing to order, you can expect some new products to be coming out as well. More organization products, puzzles, fun little figures, and more are all getting ready to release.

Regarding the holiday season that is coming up, I don't have any firm cut-off dates yet for ordering goodies in time for Christmas because I don't have enough recent data to know how long shipping times are going to be. On average though, the lead time for creating your handmade orders has been 8 days, so I'm assuming early December will be the cut-off point. I highly recommend anyone that is planning on giving out some of our goodies as presents this year to get your orders in during November to avoid the rush. I print orders first-come first-served (sometimes larger orders do take a bit longer based on available colors) so the earlier your orders are in the better.

Thank you everyone for your support and I'm looking forward to getting everything finalized and back up and running. This has been a scary moment for the business and I'm glad to almost be over this hump.

Thank you,
Robert Veitch, FrostyVoid
